Prezzo Italian Restaurant Oswestry

We booked a 9pm table on the 23/05/25 .. the two managers on shift that evening were amazing!! .. credit to your restaurant, couldn’t do enough for us and our child with additional needs ! . Thank you so much , we’ll definitely be returning

Food was good. However I had to send the pasta back as the extra cheese ordered was not on it. The table had not been properly prepared as a dirty glass from the previous occupants had not been cleared away. However the waitress was very good at sorting things out, even though it was very busy.

Katie was amazing. She provided 5 star service throughout. Made top tier recommendations! The food was incredible and the service matched! Definitely will be returning!

Staying for the weekend in Oswestry at a nearby Hotel we decided to try the Prezzo Italian and very impressed firstly by the young lady who took our booking earlier in the day when passing. Very efficient, helpful and personable. Later when arriving the same girl took us to our table at the rear of the restaurant before our waitress Evie who came to attend us. What a very pleasant polite and efficient young lady. Informed us allergies of which I had a peanut one. She gave me the list of contents of all the ingredients in the menu There was 4 of us in the group and we all had excellent and delicious food, which came very promptly and all served hot. We hadn't planned on Italian food as I'm not overly impressed by Pasta or Pizza's. However I must say my lasagne was the best I'd ever eaten out especially as my wife makes what is the best Lasagne . I had to tell her this one was on a par with hers and the garlic bread we ordered was a perfect accompaniment. We were not expecting it to be such a perfect evening for food & atmosphere. In addition absolutely fantastic service by all the staff we came into contact with, especially Evie who was so knowledgeable and a credit to the younger generation. Thank you all so much for an unexpected evening meal. We hope to visit Oswestry again and will definitely visit your restaurant again.

I was very satisfied with my meal at Prezzo’s primarily because each dish was prepared with noticeable care and fresh, high-quality ingredients. The spaghetti Bolognese was cooked perfectly al dente, and the rich, savory tomato sauce complemented the pasta without overpowering it. The garlic bread had just the right balance of crispy edges and a soft center, with enough garlic flavor to enhance each bite without being too strong. My daughter’s beef burger was juicy and well-seasoned, and the side of garlic bread she ordered was consistently tasty. Finally, the dough with Nutella provided a sweet, indulgent ending to the meal—light, fluffy dough paired perfectly with the smooth chocolate spread. On top of the delicious food, the service from Mirka was excellent: she was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our visit.

We visited on Friday 18th to celebrate a 40th anniversary: it was our first time at the Oswestry restaurant, and we always have pizza on this occasion as we'd had this on our first date. The staff were excellent throughout the evening, and the food was lovely (especially the Mozzarella & Tomato Arancini), although we were surprised that the pizzas were served on cold plates as it didn't take long for them to cool down. The only other comment we'd make is that when we booked online the system asked if there was a specific occasion and we said 'anniversary' ... nothing was mentioned at all during our visit though, so I wonder why they bother asking the question.

Absolutely fab, family friendly service and menu. Accommodated us a whole hour earlier than our booking, swift service with options to bring kids meals quickly etc. Katie & Eboni were fab & very attentive!

Brilliant experience overall. Our server (Mirka) apologised as soon as we walked in for the potentially slower service as they were short staffed, which is why the service is 4 stars. She was great though and really worked hard to make up for the staffing shortage. Food a little delayed but nothing major. But the presentation of the meals was excellent and the food was piping hot. The manager came in within twenty minutes of our arrival to help our and we left the restaurant with two happy (and very tired) children who had been well fed and looked after by Mirka. Next time we're passing through Oswestry we'll definitely be eating here again.
